To maximize your eating pleasure, pop your Jars of Dough into the refrigerator for 1 hour. We do not include any artificial preservatives so if your dough has separated, don’t worry, it’s still safe AND fab! Simply mix it back together and grab a spoon.

Happylicious jars are sold as refrigerated products but are safe to eat at room temperature. All of our dough is best eaten within four months — if they can last that long. Happylicious Jars of Dough are safe out of the refrigerator for seven days which is why they are shipped without cold packs. Yup, we really did work with a brilliant phd food science doctor to make sure we got it right!

What makes Happylicious so special?
Happylicious uses only the finest ingredients to create our edible cookie dough.  Our boozy flavors are fun and hip while our classic flavors bring back wonderful childhood memories. Each bite you take has been made with lots of love and a whole lot of happyness.

Is Happylicious edible cookie dough and brownie batter safe to eat?
YES!  Raw egg and raw wheat flour are the health concerns when in eating uncooked dough/batter.  As our products will never contain eggs and we use heat treated flour for all of our flavors, you get to sit back and enjoy.

How do I bake my Happylicious edible cookie dough?
Great news….YOU DON’T!  Happylicious edible cookie dough does not include any leavening ingredients.  No need to run up your electricity bill when you can just eat the edible cookie dough right out of the jar. However, if you really love baked cookies, be sure to order our 2-IN-1 Cookie Mixes.

How do I store my Happylicious by Betsy edible cookie dough?
Happylicious by Betsy products are safe to eat at room temperature however, as our Jars of Happyness are safe outside the refrigerator for one week and then four months refrigerated, we recommend storing your edible cookie dough jars in the refrigerator. If you would like your Jars of Dough to last longer than four months, we recommend wrapping the jars well and storing them in the freezer for up to a year.

Are you a nut or wheat free facility?
We are not a nut or wheat free facility.  While we do have products that do not contain nuts, all of our products are made in an environment where wheat, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts and soy are present.  Consumers concerned with food allergies should be aware of this risk.  We recommend that those with nut or wheat allergies use their own discretion before consuming any Happylicious by Betsy products as we assume no responsibility for adverse reactions.

Do you have any gluten free flavors?
At this time, we do not offer any gluten free flavors. Our number one priority is that we offer products that are safe to eat. We have not yet found a heat treated gluten free flour. Hopefully, this will change in the not-to-distant future.

How do you ship Happylicious by Betsy Jars of Dough?
Happylicious Jars of Dough are safe out of the refrigerator for seven days which is why they are shipped without cold packs through USPS, FedEx or UPS. Yup, we really did work with a brilliant phd food science doctor to make sure we got it right! We use all-natural ingredients so separation can happen. If it does, simply stir it together and you are ready to dig in. These options do not guarantee a specific delivery date but we will work with you to make this happen if you need it. What’s the scoop with your 2-IN-1 Cookie Mixes?
Happylicious 2-IN-1 Cookie Mixes use the same heat treated flour that is in our Jars of Dough. This let’s you decide if you mix-and-eat a big batch of safe-to-eat edible cookie dough or mix-and-bake fresh from the oven cookies.

Do 2-IN-1 Cookies have to baked on parchment paper?
Happylicious 2-IN-1 Cookies do not have to be baked on parchment paper. We love parchment paper because clean up is such a breeze. However, you can bake your cookies on either buttered or unbuttered baking sheets. The buttered baking sheets will result in a flatter cookie and the unbuttered ones will result in a bit of a puffier cookie. Just be sure to transfer the cookies not baked on parchment paper after 5 minutes so that they do not stick to the pan.
